Academics
Join our 1–2 unit DeCal to tackle pressing social issues of interest. This introductory course is open to all majors and counts toward the Public Policy Minor. More information can be found below.

Shape our voice, vision and visibility. Join the executive team and reach wider audiences by managing communications, crafting engaging content, and growing our campus presence and engagement.
About the Applied Policy Lab DeCal
Our 1–2 unit DeCal invites students to explore key policy frameworks and dive deep into a pressing social issue of personal interest over the course of a semester. Open to all majors, the course also counts toward the Public Policy Minor. The DeCal culminates in a final policy memo that would make a strong addition to any professional portfolio. We strongly encourage those who are interested in our research division but worried about a lack of prior experience to take the DeCal as a form of preparation.
